2024

To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China's Third Plenary Session and guide Party members and cadres to carry forward the great founding spirit, on November 20, 2024, coinciding with the expert consensus discussion meeting on the standardization of functional laboratory construction, the Party working group of the Functional Experiment Teaching Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Pathophysiology and the Society's group member unit—the Chengdu Taimeng Party branch—jointly held a special Party lesson study. Professor Gong Yongsheng expounded the core content of the thematic Party lesson in an easy-to-understand manner. He pointed out that Party building plays a vital role in enterprises, helping them shape correct values, unite team strength, and enhance competitiveness, laying a solid foundation for the long-term development of enterprises.

At the same time, the Party working group of the Functional Experiment Teaching Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Pathophysiology, led by Head Gong Yongsheng and Chairman Fan Xiaofang, organized some participants to visit and study at the Jianchuan Museum in Chengdu.

The Chengdu Jianchuan Museum is a local comprehensive museum founded by private entrepreneur Fan Jianchuan and is also a national base for patriotic education. The Mainstay Hall uses historical photos, materials, objects, documents, and restored scenes or realistic landscapes of guerrilla warfare, mine warfare, and reed screens to highlight the fact that the Communist Party of China represents the will of the entire Chinese people and led and promoted the great Anti-Japanese War. The Positive Battlefield Hall mainly showcases the twenty-two major battles of the Nationalist army in the Anti-Japanese War, realistically reproducing the scenes of the confrontation between the Chinese and Japanese armies. The Anti-Japanese War Veterans Handprint Square has collected the handprints of more than 5,700 anti-Japanese war veterans; it was their hands that wielded sabers and spears, threw grenades, laid mines, and blew up bunkers, holding up the future of the entire Chinese nation.

During the visit, everyone was not only attracted by these precious cultural relics and historical materials but also moved by the historical stories behind them. It was as if they had traveled through time and space back to the war-torn era, feeling the tremendous sacrifices made by revolutionary martyrs for the liberation of the country and the independence of the nation. After the visit, the participants expressed that they would remember history, cherish peace, and contribute their strength to the strength of the country and the rejuvenation of the nation, continuously keeping up with the times and making innovations.

This Party lesson study and Party day activity not only strengthened the Party spirit of the participating Party members but also inspired new work ideas and innovative inspiration for the participants. Everyone expressed that they would transform the results of this study into the motivation to promote work and devote themselves to functional experimental teaching and scientific research with greater enthusiasm and a more pragmatic style, contributing their strength to cultivating more high-quality medical talents and serving the national medical and health cause.
