The Office of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) has released the list of selected candidates for the 2024 CAST Young Elite Scientists Program (YESP) Doctoral Program, with 3226 individuals selected in the first batch. The Chinese Society of Pathophysiology, as a supporting society, will provide support services to 12 selected doctoral students. The support period is from January 2025 to December 2026.

The health of the people is the foundation of social progress and civilization, and an important indicator of national prosperity and strength. Integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western medicine is one of the guiding principles of health and wellness work in China's new era, and also a prominent feature and unique advantage of China's medical and health services.

The "2024 Annual Meeting of the Immunology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Pathophysiology" sponsored by the Immunology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Pathophysiology, the Tumor Stem Cell Research Institute of Dalian Medical University, and co-sponsored by the Institute of Hematology, Sun Yat-sen University, was successfully held in Guangzhou on December 15, 2024. More than 100 members of the Immunology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Pathophysiology, young committee members, and teachers and students from Sun Yat-sen University engaged in basic and clinical research participated in the meeting, both online and offline.

According to the work arrangement, on the morning of November 28, 2024, Lin Runhua, President of the China Association for Science and Technology's Science and Technology Herald Press, and his entourage visited our society for research. President Zhang Youyi and Executive Vice Secretary-General Xu Hong attended the meeting, along with staff from the Society's Secretariat. The meeting was held in the Society's meeting room.

On November 28, 2024, the list of selected projects (a total of 463) for the second phase of the Program for Excellence in Chinese Science and Technology Journals (2024-2028) was officially announced. The Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology was selected as a project of the second-phase Chinese echelon journals (100 journals in total, including 90 academic journals and 10 popular science journals).
