This event focused on respiratory diseases and health, with 3 parallel main forums, 36 sub-forums, and advanced technology training. It comprehensively presented rich content in the field of respiratory diseases and health, including drugs, vaccines, medical devices, scientific research equipment, and science popularization, using a high-level academic platform to respond to the national strategic deployment of strengthening the respiratory disease prevention and control system. Experts closely followed the theme of "Breathing Together, Creating the Future," engaging in in-depth dialogues on cutting-edge research breakthroughs, technological innovation transformation, and industrial upgrading paths, jointly drawing a new blueprint for the development of respiratory health, and contributing wise solutions to the construction of a strong technological nation and a healthy China.

Guangzhou National Laboratory Celebrates Four Years of Promoting Technological Breakthroughs for Public Benefit
In the four years since its establishment, the Guangzhou National Laboratory, as an important component of the national strategic scientific and technological force, under the leadership of the Central Committee of Science and Technology, guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and with the support and guarantee of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou City, has focused on respiratory diseases and their prevention and control, striving to practice a new national system, resolutely shouldering the responsibility of "overall platform and overall chain leader," deeply exploring the construction of a national laboratory system with Chinese characteristics, fully carrying out major scientific and technological research, producing dozens of key achievements, actively responding to national strategic needs, and safeguarding the health of the people. Academician Zhong Nanshan's report, Four Years of Deep Cultivation, Intelligently Starting a New Journey—The Guangzhou Laboratory's Practice and Breakthroughs in Benchmarking the Five Elements of a Strong Technological Nation systematically summarized the laboratory's three major work directions and its development over the past four years. He stated that the laboratory should be oriented towards national strategic needs, improve the ability to proactively prevent and control sudden public health events caused by sudden infectious diseases (prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and equipment), elucidate the early evolutionary patterns and pathogenesis of major chronic respiratory diseases, promote early diagnosis, early prevention, and early treatment, and achieve theoretical breakthroughs in the pathogen infection and pathogenesis of major sudden respiratory infectious diseases. He emphasized that the laboratory will further strengthen its role as an "overall platform and overall chain leader," driven by technological innovation and centered on people's health, continuously producing more original and leading results, making new and greater contributions to the comprehensive construction of a healthy China and achieving high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement, so that the fruits of technological innovation can benefit the people more and more equitably.

Zhong Nanshan Science Popularization Studio Officially Unveiled, Helping to Improve Public Health Literacy

Technological innovation and science popularization are the two wings of achieving innovative development. With the promulgation and implementation of the newly revised "Science Popularization Law," the status of science popularization as an important part of the national innovation system has been further strengthened. During the forum, the unveiling of the Zhong Nanshan Science Popularization Studio became a focal point. The Zhong Nanshan Science Popularization Studio will adhere to the principles of "scientific, timely, authoritative, effective, accurate, and three-dimensional," bringing together top scientists and clinical experts nationwide, promoting the transformation of scientific research results through in-depth dialogues, and injecting strong science popularization momentum into the construction of a strong technological nation and a healthy China.

Focusing on Strategic Frontiers to Create an Academic Feast, Reports by Academicians and Experts Attract Attention
During the forum, Academician Zhong Nanshan also personally lectured on the first lecture of Respiratory Health Classroom using vivid metaphors and plain language to interpret professional medical knowledge, conveying the modern health concept of "prevention first, combining prevention and treatment" to the public, and promoting the improvement of public health literacy.

The keynote report session closely followed the current national needs for technological innovation and industrial upgrading. Academician He Fuchu's report Human Proteome Navigation Project painted a grand blueprint for drawing a dynamic map of the human proteome and constructing a "human status navigation system." Academician Gao Fu's report Scientific Issues of X Disease showed new paths and strategies for X disease prediction and respiratory disease prevention and control. Academician Xu Tao's report AI-Driven Biomedical Equipment Technological Innovation presented the innovative models and achievements of intelligent technology empowering biomedical equipment upgrades and respiratory disease diagnosis and treatment. The special reports focused on clinical transformation and primary medical care, with Professor He Jianxing and Professor Zheng Jinping respectively delivering AI+Tubeless Innovation-Driven Lung Cancer Screening, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Rehabilitation System Construction and Exploration of the Understanding and Treatment of Airway Inflammation in Chronic Respiratory Diseases reports.
“Lung Nodule Awareness Week” Theme Pavilion and Innovation Achievements Exhibition Simultaneously Appear
“Lung Nodule Awareness Week” was officially launched last year at the Nanshan Respiratory Health Forum. This year, the conference specially set up a Lung Nodule Awareness Week theme pavilion, with four areas: "Lifting the Fog," "Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Preservation Area," "Yuekangjia Health Gas Station," and "Doctors Up Close," providing interactive services such as health consultations, traditional Chinese medicine health preservation, and lung nodule science popularization for the attending public.
Innovation Achievements Exhibition made a strong comeback at this year's conference, creating a panoramic ecological exhibition of "technology × product × scenario × ecosystem," bringing together cutting-edge achievements from the entire biopharmaceutical industry chain, building a high-efficiency platform for industry-academia-research cooperation, using innovative momentum to promote the upgrading of the respiratory health industry, and leading the new future of China's biopharmaceutical industry.
3 Parallel Main Forums and 36 Sub-Forums Offer a Rich and Varied Program
